Today, Moon heads the manufacturing market of classy Asphalt Plants, Pavers, Concrete Batching Plants and other interrelated machineries. Over the years, Moon has grown multifold adding expertise and capabilities in the area of Road Construction Machineries in domestic and overseas markets.
Moon was founded in Ahmedabad, Gujarat (India) in 1985 by Mr. Ghanshyam Panchal. The proven capabilities and quality of the company complement the Moon’s reputation, for both engineering and manufacturing excellence. Mr. Panchal instigated road construction machinery production 28 years back.
Mr. Panchal’s innovation, dedication and R&D took company to the new heights in very short span of time and launched Double Drum Asphalt Plant in year 1987 and afterwards established Moon Engineering Works Pvt. Ltd.
Mr. Panchal possessed extensive industry experience in road construction machineries manufacturing and service operations. Moon quickly focused on those core elements essential in building a successful company. The vision of the founder was to build "state of the art" machineries, Moon’s equipment outperforms!
The company has risen like the sun and now has become an enormous name in the industry of road construction machineries and equipment. Numerous Asphalt Drum Mix Plants are functioning across the country along with few are active in different zones of CIS, African and Arab Countries.
Moon Engineering Works Pvt. Ltd. is running successful and operational under more than built-up area of 11200 sqft equipped with vital, modern and cutting-edge machineries & accessories. Moon introduced itself with Asphalt Plant. Gradually in 1994, Moon Engineering Works Pvt. Ltd. swelled it up with grown-up setup for the creation of Hydrostatic Asphalt Paver and Automatic Batch Type Asphalt Drum Mix Plant.
Moon fetched several exquisite projects of design, manufacture, supply, installation and trial run for exclusive purpose equipment used in development program for Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and a few well-known chemical industries.
Year 2003-04 opened the door to overseas business and brought us a great deal of supplying, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of Drum Mix Asphalt Plant for the Airport of Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan. The project was quite successful and it gave wings to company for achieving new elevations. Thereafter, Moon set off various segments in Road Construction Machineries and Equipment. Moon now is specialized in designing, manufacturing, erection & commissioning, serving & repair, operation & maintenance (contract) including supply of spare parts for various Road Construction Plants, equipment and machineries as follows :
Moon Engineering Works Pvt. Ltd.’s journey has been efficacious and during this amazing voyage of 28 years, Moon has accomplished numerous glorious assignments. In addition to ISRO and other chemical and engineering plants, The Company has supplied and configured numerous Asphalt Drum Mix Plants of several sizes, types and configurations to Indian states and shipped to many overseas countries.

Scope of work : Supply, installation & commissioning, operation & maintenance of 60-90 THP Asphalt Drum Mix Plant with Mix Storage Silo and Pollution Control Unit.
Project: Construction of AINE Air Field for Air Force, Tajikistan
Executing: Military Engineering Services (MES) Agency c/o Indian Embassy, Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan
Scope of work: Supply, installation & commissioning, operation & maintenance of 40-60 TPH Asphalt Drum Mix Plant.
